A strange truth, behind this song: My dear friend, SREENI (now very famous singer, SRINIVAS) sang the track for DASETTAN, at A V M Studios, Chennai. We both went to hotel room, where SALILDAA was staying and had a wonderful time with the legendary composer, while SREENI learinng the song. It was before SREENI became a popular singer. SALILDAA liked it very much, but, the producer and director had confirmed the song for DASETTAN to sing. So, SALILDAA wanted to give him more songs, in the next films, he congratulated SREENI for the beautiful singing and told me, He is too late born, for my period! But, that was SALILDAA`s last film. I feel very happy, that atleast SREENI could sing a track for SALILDAA and his singing (Track voice, with a great mixed flaovour of TALAT MOHAMED SAHEB and MEHDI HASSAN SAHEB, still haunts me, as the best song of Sreeni I heard, much more beautifully sung, than any of his super hit songs, sung for any Mus dir!!!!!!!!!!.
