A stroll around the high rise resorts of Bocagrande makes me think I am in South Beach with towering white condos and crystal blue skies. Its a bit drier here (which shouldnt be a surprise since the desert island of Aruba is just a few miles away). The flora is pretty familiar of an irrigated tropical paradise with a few surprises tossed in. Im always disappointed by ignorant temperate gardeners who disrespect the flora of the tropics as ordinary houseplants. If were gardening for pleasure, color and texture then why not have something that performs 365 days a year!?!?
