A student of the arts will never truly be free unless they learn - TopicsExpress

A student of the arts will never truly be free unless they learn to remove the spiritual prison that engulfs their true self. For this prison is as oppressive as it is elusive and only the enlightened can free themselves from its grasp. Conscience is the demon of man. The most evil men are driven by it as the most gentle men are tortured by it. For conscience is not what is good in man, but instead, is what is most evil, deceptive and destructive. Conscience is the tomb that buries oneself from themselves and grows ever deeper with each desperate act to uphold it. What makes it more dangerous than any evil is that man is told that it is truth and that it is righteous; it is the demon of man, because it poses as the light of man. Remember, conscience comes to a man; no good ever comes to any man; good must be sought out. The evil mans conscience tells him that he has been tricked, that he did not kill enough, that he is weak, that he is a coward, that he must fight harder and steal more than the other competitor. He is told that he did not make enough money, did not take enough treasure, did not defeat enough people and that he was too soft and too gentle, showing weakness. The gentle mans conscience tells him that he was too harsh, too critical, wrong, uncaring and unsacrificing. It calls him selfish and arrogant and accuses him of crimes he has not committed or turns laudible acts into reprehensible ones. There is no respite from conscience. For it shall not cease within a man until it brings a man to do the most evil thing a man can do: To suffer as much as humanly possible up until taking their own lives in self-reproach. How conscience became confused with compassion is the work of stealthy slave drivers and oppressors. They are not the same, but complete opposites. Compassion does not force ones hand nor does it cause one pain. There is no blame in compassion and no judgment, but conscience depends on guilt and blame for its foundation. Fear will not destroy man, for fear is a natural emotion. It is what conscience does to fear that makes it work against man and makes a coward out of all humanity. Fear keeps a man from walking over the edge of a mountain, while conscience encourages it. Fear can be controlled, but conscience cannot. Conscience must be eliminated, for even a drop of conscience can become a sea of misery. Fear is logical, but conscience is a monster without shape and self-validating reason. It is an inward fear that is created by man to enslave other men. It serves only to destroy and oppress those whom could not be controlled by fear alone. It is a sickness of the mind created to poison the minds of those who would dare to desire freedom. The demon of man must never be allowed to pose as the salvation of man. Many warriors have taken their lives uselessly because of the poison of conscience; where a warrior could not have been defeated by fear or weaponry, he would surely take his life in shame with a mere word. How delicate and vulnerable man is to this disease. There is only one way to know conscience and it is to think logically. If something hurts ones soul, then it is evil. If something makes one suffer in their spirit, then it is sickness. If something does not allow one to forgive, then it is conscience. For conscience will never forgive its host until it wrests the life from his blind spirit aimlessly. Understand that man was placed on this earth for one reason and one reason only, and it is to survive and evolve. And no man can survive if he thinks not of himself. No man can survive he thinks not of his well being. No man can survive if he allows another to take their life. No man can survive if he cannot provide for himself. And no man can evolve if he cannot survive, nor can he survive if he does not evolve. And no man can evolve in shame. Do what it is that your heart desires, and if others should offer you resistance, then find the most efficient way to get around them or destroy them. Know your allies and feel no mercy for your foes. If something is not for your cause, then waste no time on it. Allow others their freedom out of compassion and wisdom, but crush anyone whom would bolster their idea upon the destruction of your own. Move without effort by understanding how to take the path of least resistance. Waste no time worrying or condemning yourself for mistakes and understand that life is about doing right and wrong in the accomplishment of ones mission. For the only wrong is that which compromises your mission and if hurting people does this then it is wrong, and if helping people does this, then it too is wrong. To help ones enemy is tantamount to suicide; unless it garnishes that enemies respect. Know when to help and when to destroy. Feel no mercy in battle and feel no ill will in friendship. Move freely without hindrance in your thoughts. Think rationally and think strategically. All else is illusion. The man who wins in life is the man who finds happiness. The man who finds true happiness is the man who finds spiritual and material wealth. No man can be happy when their stomach hungers and no man can drown their sorrow with riches if their soul is tortured by greed, driven by the conscience of guilt telling them that they do not have enough and that they must have more if they are to be worthy. No, my friends, there is no lying in logic, for it is basic. Good health, spiritual and material wealth, peace of mind and freedom are the tools to happiness. Waste no time on anything that deprives you of any of those goods. I have seen many happy rich men and many miserable ones. I have seen many happy poor men and more miserable ones. But I have never met a happy slave. And it is a far better fate to die wealthy and miserable than to die poor and miserable. Take what you can. Give what you must. Be good to your allies. Be ruthless to your enemies. Beware of those who wish to be too much like you. Beware of those who knock uninvited. Think of yourself before all other things. For your universe dies with you. And all those who love you suffer when you suffer. To be true to oneself is to be true to The Way. Free yourself. What price does your conscience ask for? Take heed, for it is your life and your spirit, shortly after your wealth and freedom. The Demon of Man From the Forbidden Scriptures Volume of the Destroyers of Feudalism
