A sustaining life as an artist can be tenuous at times. My friend Christa, a charismatic, hard working and well known ceramic artist, who has been making her living as a self employed artist for many years, broke her back recently as she jumped from a burning building to save her life. She has lost all her possessions, and her livelihood (for now,) but not her gratitude, attitude and indomitable spirit. With the cost of medical bills, new housing and many other costs, a group of friends organized this fundraiser to help her out. The always generous ceramic community rushed to her aid and hundreds of people have supported it. They have exceeded the modest goal they set. The additional funds are much needed, with only 2 hours left in the fundraiser, will you contribute a little now?
