A the high Court in Masaka has sentenced an 18 year old girl to only six hours in Masaka prison for killing her father. Hafuwa Namata confessed to killing her father Ahmed Majwaala in Nyendo –Kasana village with the help of her mother Halima Nalwadda last month. She told court that her father had raped her several timse since she was 16 years together with her three sisters. In his ruling Masaka high court judge Mwiri Ouma ordered that Namatta only serves a six hour sentence because she committed the offense in self defense.
