A three mins Master Scene... You follow old Rafiki ; he knows the way Those 3 mins tell the True Life that a man ought to live. Simba first runs after Rafiki until he cuts his breath, looking for knowledge; the will has to come from you first, then you follow Rafiki , someone to lead you , who is older/higher than you in the hierarchy of knowledge. Rafiki can also be a symbol of your intellectual mind. The path was long, tough full of obstacles , and he fall down at one point but he got back up; stuffed with all your fears, past & future worries, guilts, hopes, attachments of family and life needs and desires , all self & body inferiors. Yet he did not know when to stop until Rafiki stopped him suddenly; you do not really know when or how the enlightenment will show up , just follow the path , mind your own self inferiors, and it is not for you to worry about that. Shhhhh Rafiki stopped him and all around him become silent; unless you are in a stillness state, changeless state, you will not be transcendent and cannot have the capacity to catch any knowledge from the above source. Then he asked him to look down there into yourself where you can see inside you, at first he just saw his reflection , still havent got rid of all self inferiors to can purely see the Truth. Rafiki then told him the sacred secret of life No, look harder, you see.... He lives in you ! Now,he transcendent into a sort of spiritual ascension , like that of Mosses with khidr by the Sea, or with God by the mountain. He then saw his father; only when you are detached from all what pushes you down to earth, you can fly.. He start to assimilate supreme knowledge from the above source... You have forgotten who you are, so you have forgotten me; This was the message, the sacred knowledge that every real Human being is in a quest for; Know your self. You are more than what you have become ; yes , indeed, you are not this you now, there is an inside of you that you do not have clue about, and you need to go back to the source to know that real you. How can I go back Simba asked? and the answer was a very important concept in the Human quest in this life.... Remember Remembrance is a very important practice in your journey, through it you know where you belong, you ask for the reunion and you transcendent to the absolute source until you are there. We notice that Rafiki disappeared from the scene after Mofasa was revealed. Indeed, his mission was done, Rafiki was never trying to dominate or manipulate you , he is only there to show you the path and reveal the truth. The true guru/Sheick teach you how to reveal what is inside you, and dont put any extra outside knowledge, then he leaves you alone when he knows you are ready. If Rafiki is to be a symbol of your intellectual mind; at some stage in your journey you have to leave it behind, it is indeed after all limited with rationality, and where you are going is a supra-rational state, same as when Moses left his servant behind when he went alone to see Al-Khidr by the sea, although he was with him the whole journey. Mofasa then ended this journey with a very fundamental concept You must take your place in the circle of life ; in the hierarchy of the universe, know your order, your real place on this infinite universe. It is a circle indeed, with one core centre.
