A time line on life They say I may have a few days or a few weeks to live I ask God which one of these options are you going to give Today is the beginning of a time slot I have been given I am to give up the life of 57 years Im already living So you say I am to start the struggle for life, Telling me I have to leave behind my daughter and my wife. And I am just to say thats all fine and it will be okay To keep me living just one more day? I am sorry Lord but that is asking me a lot. You ask me if am and ready for that , And I will say no I am not You say in heaven things are so much better But in order to see it I have to give up what I have loved forever I am to take your word that I will see them again some day But I know what I have now and I am to trade that for a promise you say But how do I say I am just willing to give it all up and call it the end I am going to have to just put my trust in you to take care of them But I am going to ride this train just as long as I can Is it going to be a breathing treatment or is it a pill that will help me win? Or is today that is going to make the end for me on this earth? I have done the best I know how and I have given it my best for all its worth Lord I am putting my life and my faith all in your hands And just going t except as being part of your plan So do with me as you feel you need to do And I will go with that knowing that in the end I will get to meet you. I felt I needed to write this before I go if I do. I dont know when anymore than any of you do. I dont want to take a chance just in case. As you know I have planned a party way past my time line I was given with a positive outlook on this thing that I am not going to let it beat me, And If I dont make that long I am sorry because I want to go out of this world on a good note and without a bunch of tears and sorrow but please feel free to join me for some good music and fun . I dont drink and all of that but do like to have fun . So If the Good Lord is willing we will get it done. Love you all Joe A Carl Conway
