A too true and too sad commentary o the state of our country today! We emphasize politically correct social situations much more than the basics our kids need to really make it in this world. We push too much crap down their throats and not enough of what is important. Common Core makes this even worse! I spend a lot of time teaching my grandkids things they should be learning in school such as reading and real math, not to mention history and proper English! If I had my way I would remove them from school and teach them myself! Unfortunately their mother does not want this.
