A tribute to my Brother, Gary. We lost him this past Saturday night in Pensacola to a brain tumor. Gary had major heart surgery in Beijing China in May 2008. Every time I heard this song back then, I would think of him, and cry because we couldnt be with him during that time. We thought that we were going to lose him then, but our gracious Lord gave him several more years with us. Gary worked out of the Country most of the last 20yrs. He was a hard worker all of his life and achieved great success in his field as a Consultant. He was also a gifted artist, a US Marine, a Bible teacher to me as a child. He taught me how to tie my shoes and tell time. He and I spent 3 glorious days in Manhattan together, he treated me like a queen. There is one thing his sisters knew...that no matter where he was in this world, he was thinking about us. He was a loving Son and Brother, he never met a stranger, and was loved by all that knew him. Without him, our circle isnt complete. In the last several years, he had retired, painting again and enjoying Florida with his lovely wife, Helen. He was finally able to slow down and enjoy life. I was able to tell him over the phone Saturday afternoon how much I loved him. He is with his Savior and our Mom and Dad. Heres to you my sweet Brother.
