San Diego Better Events Magazine is proud of our pageant directors leadership and accomplishments. Dania is a true role model with outstanding academic grades. We believed in you since day one! Girls World Expo GWE San Diego congratulates Dania Murntaz, one of this years Girls of Merit! Leadership has many faces and many facets, all of which are part of who Dania Murntaz is. Dania leads by example, by action, and by inspiration. Coming from a culturally-mixed background, Dania was bullied as a youngster. Her response was a powerful anti-bullying campaign that she has carried to other schools and throughout the community. Now a senior at Olympian High School, Dania maintains a 4.0 GPA, participates in soccer, lacrosse and cross country, and serves as a peer counselor. She takes enormous pride in her peer counselor activities, where her natural leadership skills, care, and compassion combine to provide a positive influence that not only changes the course of many lives, but even has saved some. Dania is currently Miss Teen Eastlake, and was Miss San Diego Better Events Magazine cover girl in 2012. She is now a social networker, director, contributing editor and writer for the magazine, putting many of her other talents to work. Through her efforts and visibility, Dania has become a role model for many younger girls throughout the community—some of them on their way to becoming future Girls of Merit.
