A two and a half hour flight north of my Zhuhai home gives me an amazing sightseeing weekend with my good buddy Graham Coles in Zhengzhou, China where he is based teaching for a year. Here we visit Grahams school, and then on to the Zhengzhou Memorial Tower at the Erqi Square (pronounced Ah-chee), and listen to the chimes. This tower commemorates the successful strike of February 7 (Erqi in Chinese), 1923. Then onto the Zhengzhou Greenland Plaza which houses office space and a 435-room hotel. It looks like a huge Chinese lantern at night time. And yes, that is the moon you can just see.
