A typical PATEL menu, simple and satisfying!! This food is our monsoon Sunday lunch speciality Really bubbling hot Kanki ( broken rice pcs),with a nice spoonful of ghee, Aloo sabzi ( sukhi bhaji ), kadhi with lots of crushed garlic and papad!!! Very light and simple but very yummy food, no one can just stop having once, I can see REEM lolling around on the floor after this lovely lunch👌😋😴 In January, when we clean our rice for storing, we separate this broken rice and store it separately It has that extra sweetness and a lovely aroma From these broken rice we make Kanki 👌 Though khichdi , kadhi , sabzi and pickle is our favourite food for Sunday but had it a lot of times as Reem wants to have it often when it rains. Satisfying lunch and a cosy nap following it😴 Somehow I never like an elaborate menu for Sunday, though I m not working but always like a very relaxing day with the easiest and the yummiest food for lunch and ending the day, weekend with a nice dinner at a decent food joint😋 Just loving this time with Jatin, Reem and my family ☔️🍛😴☕️☔️❤️💛💚❤️
