The HD video of this out-take can be freely downloaded from the link on the Homepage of my website: ancientlyre In this video of the out-take, filmed in the incredible replica Iron Age Earth House at the Cranborne Ancient Technology Centre in Dorset, UK, I attempted to evoke upon my lyre, the sounds of the lost music of ancient Rome. A clip of the recordings during this film shoot featured in the background music for episode 2, What the Barbarians Did For Us. The series was a re-assessment of the Dark Ages, showing the extraordinary art that was made between the fall of the Roman Empire and the Norman Conquest of Britain.
