A vehicle left outside to warm up in the cold Thursday night in Rapid City led to a theft, pursuit and arrest. Police say a Lincoln Continental was left running on N. 5th Street just before midnight. When the owner returned, the vehicle was pulling out of the parking lot. Police spotted the vehi8cle on I-190 and tried to stop it, pursuing west on I-90 where the SD Highway Patrol joined in. The Sturgis Police were able to deflate the tires and the Lincoln was stopped near Sturgis. Police say 19-year old Angelo Richards was the only person in the car and he was charged with eluding law enforcement, failing to report an accident, driving without a drivers license, possession of a stolen vehicle, grand theft of a motor vehicle and outstanding warrants. Friday morning, Rapid City detectives added four more grand theft charges involving other stolen vehicles, and police say Richards is a suspect in several ongoing grand theft investigations
