A very crucial trial is about to take place in Dallas, as written in Bloomberg. It involves the J&J DePuy Pinnacle hip. Since the Pinnacle hip has a 10% failure rate, if the Jury rules against them, and finds that they mishandled the devices, the FDA may fine them $5.78 BILLION as punishment. This will be a very big step for ALL of us victims of ALL of the manufacturers; they will want to settle their claims to avoid a similar fate!
