A very nice bracelet from the Minangkabau, Sumatra, Indonesia, posted by Ganto Art Lathief. Described as Old Minangkabau Bracelet Silver and Copper Gilded; I presume this refers to the piece as made of an alloy of silver and copper covered with gilding. The workmanship is beautiful, and typical of its culture. The materials are perfectly acceptable (even though gold would be yet better!), with the gilding in remarkably good condition.
