A very special day for ARK !! As I do my regular speech as I do every Sunday , I gave all of our guest a challenge.....since our name is ARK ( Acts of Random Kindness)......I challenged them to perform one random act of kindness... And next week I want to hear their stories Now while I was doing this lil speech, I noticed a very pretty girl, with a baby in a stroller, at the end of the line, I was thinking to myself, she must be a new volunteer that heard about us on Facebook Little did I know that this was Brooke !!!..... Brooke is this wonderful girl that came here from New York, ended up homeless...... She went into the Teen Challenge program, and we didnt see her anymore.....I thought about her a lot, prayed for her, but never heard what happened to her till today......she got out of teen challenge, got custody of her lil girl back, and right now shes living with a pastor and his family and Is doing very well, and you can just see how well shes doing just by looking at her. To all of our volunteers!! If sometimes you wonder if what we , do, is actually helping people, then just watch this video of Brooke , this makes everything worth while!!! Thanks to the Nixions for providing todays meal , and to all of our volunteers, you guys are the best ever!!!!
