A visit to the DMV is, as all know, a joy and pleasure. I arrived this morning ten minutes before they opened to attempt to beat the rush as my last visit to this cesspool of humanity lasted a cool four hours. The plan was quickly thwarted after I caught sight of a single file line by the entrance comprised of several hundred individuals. Apparently I was not alone in my idea. I took my place at the end in good spirits and waited for the opening to commence. While passing the time I noticed many late arrivals who clearly saw the line of people waiting to enter, who then attempted to walk up to the front door and open it. It was as if they believed the people in line were there for pleasure, or some other reason than to conduct tedious DMV business. Thats right. These idiots must have believed that people gathered there to catch a few rays on the sidewalk, and decided to just go right ahead and walk inside. Have you ever wondered why ketchup bottles or ladders come with instruction labels? Theyre for the empty-headed simpletons I observed today.
