A volunteer writes: Nothing makes me sadder than to find yet another big black cat in a kennel, invariably sitting right in the front, quietly and patiently waiting for the chance to interact with someone who might adopt him or her. Onyx is one of those cats: shy, sweet, easy to handle and shhhhh… hes a very quiet boy. Hes an older, more mature cat, already neutered and settled down. He has all anyone could want in a forever companion; now he just needs the right person to walk in, see him and nod. Yes, hes the one.
