A week ago, I was on Amtraks California Zephyr traveling through canyons along the Colorado River. They were spectacular! The third picture from my window shows the track high above the river on a ledge approaching a tunnel, showing in the upper middle part of the picture. What a great trip! The Zephyr runs from Emeryville (Oakland) to Chicago. I took a Capital Corridor train to get to Emeryville from San Jose.
