A week or so ago, I chatted with a woman at a church where I visited years before. She let me know that a first-grade boy attended my character-building magic show at school. Curious, the youngster came to church that night with his mother and has been coming ever since. He has been involved in Sunday school, after-school programming and now, at the age of 16, is involved in the youth group and monthly food bank ministry! On a recent Sunday, the woman announced at worship that One Man Show Ministries will return to their church later this year. She asked the young man if he remembered me and my magic show. He was grinning and nodding before I could finish asking, she said. Its not often that I get to hear the impact of this ministry on individual lives, so when I do receive a report like this one, it refuels my tanks and spurs me to keep going!
