A week to go... Black Bess is now padded up and ready for her journey to Lands End tomorrow where I shall catch up with her on Friday. Thankfully, I still have my Bianchi Sempre Pro to keep me company in the meantime - oh. and Angela too...;-) May I thank, again, all those family, friends and colleagues who have kindly sponsored me on what, for me, will be the journey of a lifetime. Yes, its a personal challenge, but I also wanted to use it as an opportunity to raise awareness and support for Childhood First, who care for children who suffer severe emotional and psychological difficulties. Thanks to your generosity, I have now raised, with gift aid, just over £900. I wont make my original target of £2K, but it would be really nice to get to £1000 - I would be really satisfied and chuffed with that. That would make it £1 for nearly every mile I cycle.
