A while back a young child asked me if there were any sea monsters in Puget Sound. I told her I dont know. Because I dont know. I couldnt agree more with the idea that KNOWING all of the scientific facts of our world is not saving us from killing eachother and ruining our planet, lack of imagination is what is doing us in. The inability to imagine a better, more global way of existing is going to come about, not by solely knowing what we have been given proof of, but by looking at our existence with a deep sense of wonder.
