A woman that Ive never seen in my life just approached me in the produce aisle and motioned for me to take out my headphones. I did and she asked me if I typically do the grocery shopping for my family. She obviously works for the store and is taking a survey. I tell her that I always do the grocery shopping for my household and she nods her head with interest but doesnt take my information down. She has a cursory glance into my cart. Fresh greens, cat food, porcini mushrooms. She thanks me for my time. I put my earbuds back in and wave and we both have a smile and a wave goodbye as she walks away. Before I can get my music cranking again, I hear her voice in the next aisle. Nevermind. He gay.
