A woman was hospitalised as a precautionary measure following a two-car collision about a mile west of Spiddal this morning. Salthill Gardaí, two units of Galway fire services and an ambulance crew were alerted to the incident shortly before 10.30am. Traffic was delayed for a time as the scene was cleared, but is now flowing as normal.
