A woman was transported Pullman Regional Hospital today after an accident on the Moscow Pullman Highway. Emergency crews responded to the report of a single vehicle rollover accident on State Route 270 near the Alpine Veterinary Hospital around 2:30 p.m. The driver was apparently headed toward Pullman when she had a medical problem that caused her to black out, cross the center line and roll her vehicle in a ditch next to the highway. The Fire Department had to use jaws of life to remove a door and extricate the woman from the car. Fire District 12 Chief Lester Erwin reported that she was conscious throughout the process, though she suffered a laceration to her scalp. She was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening issues. No information was yet available on the womans identity, but her 4-door white sedan had Latah County license plates.
