A wonderful song for the day after Christmas. Maybe a balm. Or an anti-toxin to all the Christmas music? (tho I heard almost none. Yay). I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and has the day off to relax. Or the weekend off, for that matter... Jan finagled the whole week off - except today. Im sure she is dragging, tho her days are all fast-paced - the way she likes it. Atlanta son scammed 2 weeks off! They are mostly going to relax with their 2yo. San D son just sold his business, and is getting into real estate. They just flew home yesterday, after looking at property. Im here, entertaining the dogs. All is well! And who will be glad with Jan back to work? The dishwasher! We might go a week without running it - but shes been cooking up a storm to make the world a better place. Even with me washing the bigger things, it ran every day while she was home! And I finally got her a gift she loved - a 16Q stock pot. She was giddy with delight. Practical me, Ive always been hesitant, wondering where we will store this monster. Guess well find out. Jan got me n the boys some Japanese damascus knives. OMG are they sharp! But oh no - our knife block is full.
