A year ago Lamarque was living in Dallas, only getting to Austin 1 or 2 days a week at the most to visit the kids. I was living in a new house, completely new to country/farm living and adjusting to the kids school an hour away with zero help/ support or even friends locally. Ash was at one of the worst points we had ever been at. She was extremely aggressive, her body going through so many changes, I could barely handle her day to day. It was a very very challenging time for us all but I learned SO much about who I am and what I am capable of. I am proud that I pushed through and never gave up. Rather than let everything fall apart I decided to keep my mind focused on Hope, Healing, Respite and Recovery! What a difference a year makes! My mom moved to Texas and has been a HUGE HUGE help to me and the kids. I have finally started to piece the puzzle together for Ashlyn and we have a new, exciting path to healing. Noah and Gracie are thriving in their school and we have amazing friends who have committed to making sure they get there everyday. There are FAR FAR too many blessing to count. So much to be thankful for. , including having MY MOM ,BROTHER and Sister in Law here for Thanksgiving! I am on cloud nine. Much love to you all.
