A year ago today, I was fortunate enough to marry a wonderful man, with whom Im deeply and desperately in love. He came into my life when I least expected it, and in the most unlikeliest of places, or so I thought. I have to say, our relationship wasnt the most convenient when we started dating...being 4,000+ miles apart with a rather large pond between us certainly made it hard to cuddle at night. But we survived, we overcame and we conquered!! My Darling Elliot, although weve only been married for a year, weve certainly had our fair share of ups and downs, good times and bad, our joys and our sorrows, and I cant imagine having shared any of them with anyone else but you. You are my foundation, my support, my happiness, my comfort, my best friend, my goofball, my lover, my life companion, my souls mate, and yes, my Xanax... ;)... but most of all youre my loving Husband who Im never letting go. Youve never failed to be there for me when I needed you the most...even when I tried to push you away, youve stood your ground, wrapped your arms around me and let me let go...btw - sorry about all the sopping wet shoulders Ive left you with. Youve helped me to overcome so many obstacles in my life and given me the love and patience I needed to pick myself up and piece myself back together again, and I know I am a better person because of you and your desire to share your life with me. Happy Anniversary, my Darling One. I love you Always xx
