A year ago today my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. The doctor gave her 2 months to live and my world crumbled. I pleaded with God for two things. 1. That he would give my parents the joy and blessing of growing old together. 2. That he would give my children the privilege of joining in her contagious joy and laughter. My beautiful mom is alive today with more energy than ever before and God has done immeasurably more than we could have ever asked for or imagined. He is able!!!!! Thank you Mom and Dad for teaching me what it means to persevere in the midst of pain and suffering. For modeling sacrificial love and commitment in marriage. And thank you for being the incredible parents that you are. I love you
