A year ago today one of my most memorable rescue dogs entered my life. She was slated to be euthanized because she was labeled as dog aggressive and beyond help... Snookies life was saved because of Tryslyn Campos, an amazing young lady who rallied the troops to support her crusade to save Snookies life. Backed with the support of Tryslyns family and supporters, Chris Harrington, Hope Defined Animal Rescue, Diesels Mission Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation and myself as Forget Me Not Dog Training...Snookie recieved a pardon and her life was spared! Today marks the one year anniversary Snookie came into my life...I bonded tremendously with this sweet girl. She became a part of my family and a part of my heart forever. Watching Snookie grow and surpass milestones I had set for her amazed me on a daily basis. She taught me patience, determination, courage and most of all...she taught me to see things from a different perspective. Unfortunately, Snookie crossed the rainbow bridge after a routine check for belly pain revealed our sweet girl was absolutely riddled with cancer. Her loss hit all of us who were involved in her rescue, rehabilitation and her supporters extremely hard. This morning as I passed by my half of her cremains I smiled and teared up at the same time... Thank you Snookie, for being such an amazing life blessing to myself and everyone your story touched. You will forever remain in my heart and in my memories ♡
