A year ago today personnel from Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department and surrounding stations responded to a two alarm dwelling fire in the Turkey Point Community... This fire took place during the peak of Super Storm Sandy. A storm the devastated the entire East Coast. On behalf of the Officers and Members of WBVFD we would like to again recognize not only our members but our surrounding companies on a Job Well Done. Despite hazardous road and terrible weather conditions, crew quickly worked together bringing the 2 alarm blaze under control while preventing injuries.
