A young lady needs advice! Can you help? Dear Jim and Jody, Ive been really close friends with this guy for about a 1/2 a year. He was my very first friend at college. The first 2 months, we were sort of a thing. I definitely had the idea that he liked me. We hung out together ALL the time. A couple months ago I found out that one of my close friends had a crush on him too. Since I never told her I liked him, I figured its best to follow girl code and back off until she got over her crush. So I started turning him down to hang out with him, saying I was busy or had homework. I didnt want to lose a friend over a guy. My friend got over her crush, so I started making my move on him again. Well he thought he got friendzoned;” he obviously moved on, hes been in a sort of a relationship with this girl who lives down the hall from me. I’ll be honest, I can’t see it working out, she is a partier, and he is just such a sweet guy who doesnt get involved with that kind of stuff. So should I tell him that I have feelings for him and that he never got “friendzoned,” or wait until he’s not with this girl anymore to make a move again?
