AARCS was again assisting at the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force - TopicsExpress

AARCS was again assisting at the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force clinic this past weekend in the community of Saddlelake, Alberta. Their team consisting of over 100 volunteers, veterinarians and techs were able to perform 397 spay and neuter surgeries onsite for this community in three days and placed 180 animals into rescue groups, 108 of which were cats! In total AARCS took in 99 of the 180 surrenders including 35 surrendered dogs and 64 cats and kittens!! Bringing us to a total of over 200 dogs and 350 cats in AARCS care currently. We would like to thank the Task Force for allowing us to be apart of the mission to end animal overpopulation by participating in these clinics. Together we can make a difference to end animal homelessness and we can do this through partnerships such as those with the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force. Please continue to help AARCS and other participating groups in your area working to get to the root of the problem through spay/neuter and adoption programs by donating, volunteering and fostering. You can become a part of the AARCS in so many different capacities and YOU TOO can make a difference in the lives of animals. Visit our website aarcs.ca for more information.
