ABC 7 news reports on the closing of Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain. There was a recent 36 hour ride marathon that took place, with participants who signed up for it. The winners were given prizes and a pin that stated that they were the final riders of Colossus. Colossus might get a steel metal hybrid redesign, loops, twists, curved track, dark tunnels, and a higher drop, and be named Iron Colossus, or it might be torn down completely and a new modern coaster will take its spot. Six Flags hasnt made any official details as of yet, but I am sure by next week, everybody will find out. I dud hear an announcement would be made in late August. Bye Bye Colossus.
