ABOUT BENNY BOY! He was an Amish owned pony who because he was too old to pull a cart was shipped to auction. Along with him was a note with a phone # it was meant for two situations on one side it stated his name, approx. age, and said he was a good pony. The other side said he was antibiotic free and certified to be slaughtered for human consumption...:( We took him and he was so scared and confused, then one day I called him by his name, and he came running thru the field where the voice that called his name was coming from!! I thought how sad, clearly he knew his name and when he heard it being called he thought it was someone who knew him. Well he did find just the most loving home with Loryn and her family, I just got a note saying how much they love him. He went to his new home with another one of our rescues, BUT since the horses can never read this I will say that Benny Boy is their favorite!! :) Gerda
