ABOUT POSHITIVELY PRETTY FOR THE CURE... Since my mom passed away in October 2011, Ive often thought about putting together a breast cancer awareness event. I wanted it to be something that not only helped to promote awareness and raise funds for research, but something that was FOR her...her honor, her memory. My mother exemplified greatness in every aspect of her life, and had a way of bringing out the greatness in others. She was always strong, courageous, and inspiring...especially throughout her battle with breast cancer. In the beginning, she prayed to battle with dignity and grace, and she did. She was a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend...she was a guiding light to some and a rock to many. My mom meant a great deal of things to a great deal of people, all of whom still miss her dearly. She touched the lives of many people, and its time for us to give back! After becoming an independent consultant for Perfectly Posh, I realized that I had the ability and resources to create something on my own that I hope will become a HUGE (possibly even annual?) event dedicated to mamas memory.
