ABOUT THE FORTHCOMING WORKSHOP PROGRAM ON 3RD MAY ONLY FOR 10 HANDS ON DELEGATES.. we start the day with a lecture by dr ahilasamy on mini fess. at 8 am. we then have one demo surgery - basic fess on polyp or sinusitis by me.. then the hands on candidates can start. each will be given one side . under supervision .... by me.. we will try to guide you on to the sphenoid and skull base dissection .. frontal sinus if it is needed.. we finish on 3rd at around 6 pm.. we do not have a dinner meet and the delegates can come on the next day ie, 4th at 8 am. on 4th we start live surgical demonstration at around 8 am .. we will have a 15 min lecture by ahilasamy .. we will start with one case demo by dr mohanty.. that will be on polyposis. then we will have one csf leak closure - lateral recess. one jna .. one tumor of the nasal cavity.. and one pituitary. this will be the end of 4th.. on 5th if a delegate wants to stay .. rs 12,000 will be collected.. we have a lot more cases which will extend from 5th to 10th or 12th.. this workshop will cover the whole spectrum of basic fess to advanced skull base . objective : to train the juniors and to refine their technique by teaching small points which will help in improving their techniques. who can attend : ent surgeons - rhinologists / skull base surgeons / neurosurgeons / oncosurgeons.... q : what will i gain by attending this workshop ; you will be able to do a basic maxillo ethmo sphenoidotomy after the hands on for sure. q : will i be able to do frontal surgery after the workshop .. ans : though we will guide you onto the basic steps of frontal surgery, you may have to do a few more cases before you get into the finesse of this procedure q : can i stay for longer time like a month ; ans : yes .. but you have to pay as we have mentioned. q : can i attend 3rd . hands on day if i have registered for 4th ; ans : no . you will not be allowed inside the theater on 3rd if you have not registered for hands on. q : will i get to see only skull base surgery on 4th or some basic fess too. ans : you will see some basic fess first before we start doing skull base q : i know basic fess . why should i register for hands on ? ans : you can fine tune on your technique of basic fess on 3rd. moreover you will see one or two skull base cases on 3rd too.. q : how many have registered ? ans : this will be a small crowd of interested people. the hands on will not be relayed . you can sit inside the theater and see us. that is why we are trying to restrict the crowd. q : how do i get to trichy? where is the venue ? how do i get hotels near the hospital ? ans : please go to our webpage skullbasesurgery.net to locate us. you may contact dr palak + 919566911607 .. the workshop coordinator - swetha - +919566570200 SEE YOU SOON AT TRICHY ..
