ABOUT THE ORGANISATION An organisation for the eradication of innovation and establishment of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (SAW). This group of Muslims and the organisation has been established as far back as 1978 in Nigeria, and its pioneering chairman was Alhaji Musa Maigandu Muhammad, and also its first grand patron was Late Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi and Late Sheikh Isma’il Idris bn Zakariyya served as its first National Chairman Ulamau Council. The organisation being the first of its kind in the history of Islamic propagation, scholarship, and championing the cause of Islamic religion courageously without fear, set aside tangible, concrete, and strong unambiguous aims and objectives, for the purpose of attaining its targeted goals. The aims and objectives of the organisation are: - Eradicating and eliminating ignorance from the society in general. - Unity and brotherhood of the Muslim Ummah. - Sensitizing and orienting Muslim Ummah on Islamic religion in relation to their developmental activities in their lives here and hereafter. - Discarding, rejecting and throwing away of various unislamic beliefs in publications and in whatever form. - Assuring, and affirming to the Muslim Ummah, that the holy prophet has accomplished and completed his mission fully, judiciously and diligently without leaving any matter unattended. - Anybody claiming to be a prophet, or claiming that the prophet visits him, should be considered as a great original liar. - Propagating Islam in Nigeria, right from the grass root (villages) level to international level. - Acting vigorously and actively towards acknowledging the saying of the holy prophet (PBUH), specifically where he says: “whoever sees a negative thing, he has to change it with his hand, if he cant do that, then with his tongue, and if he cant do that, by his heart, and that is the weakest form of faith.” - Maintaining that a proof must be from the book of Allah and Hadith of the holy prophet, and that proof should not be concealed under any circumstance. The Organization, as an international Organization per se, has a lot of active organs that make the execution and running of its activities to go smoothly. Many sub committees are found in the Organization, and some of these committees include: - First Aid Committee - Da’awah Committee - Seminar Committee - Orphanage and less privileged committee -Trustee Committee - Education Committee e.t.c EXECUTIVE COMMITEE The current national chairman of the Organization is Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, who was then deputy national chairman of the organization under the chairmanship of late sheikh isah taliyawa who succeeded him after his demise - National Chairman of Ulama Council: Dr ibrahim jalo jalingo - Deputy National Chairman of Ulama Council: Barrister sabiu jibia - National Sectary General Of The Organization (JIBWIS): Sheikh Muhammad Kabir Haruna Gombe - Chairman First Aid Group: Engr. Mustapha imam sitti - Deputy Chairman First Aid Group: Alh kabiru gusau TRUSTEE COMMITTEE - Sheik Yakubu Musa Hassan - Sheik Alhassan Sa’idu Adam Jos JAMA’ATU IZALATIL BIDAH WAIQAMATIS SUNNAH, is an international Organization with adherents and followers all over the world, especially in Africa. In Nigeria, its original home, it has branches in the whole 36 state of the federation together with the FCT. Furthermore, the true teachings of Islam through the Organisation has crossed boarders from Nigeria to the neighboring Niger, Mali, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Chad, Burkina faso, Ginue, Saudi Arabia and many other African countries. Its regular activities include: - Active teaching of Islamic religion base on the true and authentic teaching of the holy prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, without resorting to following whims and caprices, prejudice and blind following. - Massive teaching of true Islamic ideals. - An annual/occasional Daawah outings (national preaching) to villages and towns within and outside Nigeria, for the propagation of Islam. - Periodic visits to prison for humanitarian and religious and to assist in securing the release of Muslim inmates convicted on minor offences through payment of fines and other possible assistance. - Periodic visits to hospitals and orphanages to assist indigent patients and inmates respectively. - Assist in the establishment of mosques and learning centers/schools. – maintaining various forms of publications, ranging from books, pamphlets, journals, magazines, newspapers, for enlightment, teaching and awareness among the Muslim Ummah. - Maintaining a strong First Aid organ, for offering help to the Muslim Community. The Organization has produced several scholars and students of knowledge all over the federation of Nigeria and beyond. It has the largest followers, especially those Muslims who truly act, only in accordance to the authentic teaching of the prophet.
