ABSOLUTELY SAD! EVIDENCE OF BEING OVERLOOKED AND FORGOTTEN.. Why do we have big dog friendly dogs without fosters sitting in cages in boarding? I just dont get it : (. How is this fair? Can we PLEASE have a foster step up! Pretty, pretty please? They are begging! Every night the light goes out in their cages and every night they close their eyes and pray that tomorrow will be different but it isnt. False promises and lost hope. When can these 2 actually live a life? They are the forgotten souls of boarding. They wonder if anyone will ever come for them. Days turn into nights and night into weeks and now months. First is Meehan. A yellow lab momma. Yup..no one wants a mommy : (. This poor thing was bred and bred and then I guess when she wasnt good enough- tossed aside to die. She is still young too! What a sad life. Her last litter was all stillborn and she mourned and mourned. She is such a good, sweet girl that prefers non-dominating BIG dogs. Thats all. Why so hard to find a home? Even a foster? She is such a lover too and craves the human touch. Is there no one who doesnt have an alpha out there that would want to pick on her? She sits in a cage for months wondering what kind of life she has been stuck with. Hearbreaking! Second- is Adonis. Yup another passed over time and time again- Black lab/bull mix. What a sweetheart and he is still very young and fun. He is a boarding favorite. They say he is just so adorable! He just likes bigger dogs (small dogs and cats are too fun to chase). He is an overlooked black dog that no one will look at : (. He likes to play and gets silly. He is so handsome too! This is no life for a pup. This goes to show that a really great dog is left with no chance because he is black and part bull breed. Doesnt matter what he does or how great he is, he is judged. Left to live a life of emptiness because of a color coat he has. What a shame! * IF you are someone who really wants to give the overlooked a chance to be chosen- please foster or adopt them! Please dont let a momma dog or a younger black dog sit and waste their lives away simply because NO ONE SEES THEM and realizes that they do matter. Doesnt matter what color they are, what their breed mix may be..they all have hearts that break and they all have hearts that want nothing more than to be loved. That is all that ask.
