ACCIDENT UPDATE - REUNION, COMMERCE CITY We want to clarify some of the facts surrounding the accident that occured at 104th Avenue and Landmark last Wednesday, September 25, 2013. It was a fatal accident involving one car and one pickup truck. The driver of the car, Evelyn Townsend succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The name of the driver of the truck has not yet been released. No charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing and not complete. We encourage everyone to wait until the facts are known and please not repeat misinformation. Our community was profoundly affected by this event and we do not want to cause more harm by false rumors. Thank you to everyone who continues to keep the Townsend Family in their prayers.
