ACHE DIN AAGAYE HAIN but that of Kashmir : Young Panthers Youth of Jammu Province once again discriminated SBI advertises vacancies only for Kashmiri speaking youth Jammu, 29, 2014: As the new government of BJP led NDA has been formed at centre and the people of Jammu Province hoping that the 67 years long discrimination with Jammuites will come to an end as the people of Jammu gave clear mandate to BJP. But the people of Jammu are once again backstabbed and are discriminated by State Bank of India (SBI) in vacancies advertised by the Bank Vide advertisement no. CRPD/CR/2014-15/02. Taking the matter seriously Pushvinder Manhas disclosed that Vide advertisement no. CRPD/CR/2014-15/02 SBI has advertised more than 5500 vacancies nation vide where the applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Assistants in Clerical Cadre in SBI. He said that as per the notification the candidates from all over India can apply for the advertised posts but the candidates from Jammu Province are not eligible to apply for the said vacancies which raises questions that do State Bank of India think that the people of Jammu are not eligible Indian citizens? Pushvinder told that the said advertisement reads, “candidates applying for the state of Jammu and Kashmir (Kashmir Province only) must have the knowledge (read and speak) of Kashmiri language”. For Jammu and Kashmir all the advertised vacancies are referred to the Kashmir Province only and that too for those candidates who can speak, read and write Kashmiri & Urdu. That means all the advertised vacancies, which, would have been meant for Jammu and Kashmir are reserved for Kashmir Province only ignoring Jammu Province totally barring the chances of the candidates of this Province, he added. Manhas castigated that BJP led NDA has also started appeasement policy for the Kashmiri Youth and step motherly treatment towards the youth of Jammu. Manhas taking dig at slogans of BJP, ACHE DIN AANE WALE HAIN said that the people of Jammu thought that their good days are near in real but it seems that with the formation of BJP led NDA government ACHE DIN AAGAYE HAIN (good days have come) but that of the people of Kashmir once again. Manhas appealed to the concerned authorities to rectify the said notification or Young Panthers will be left with no other option to launch an agitation against the said discriminatory attitude of the Bank and concerned authorities.
