ACO Match Previews Sun 9 March: Our U13s are back in action after last Sunday’s day off and it’s Edinburgh City Whites from D1 who provide the opposition at CMP in a League Cup encounter. AC will be looking to even the score with the Whites who dumped AC out of the Scottish Cup in the opening round back in September. Our U14s visit Whitehill Welfare in a return D4 fixture and 3 points for AC would see them stay at the top of the league ahead of the chasing pack. There’s a 10 point difference between AC and Whitehill - here’s hoping they can field a full-strength squad and maintain their title challenge. There’s another tough game in prospect for our U15s who face a home D3 fixture vs Bonnyrigg Rose Reds. The Reds are having a solid season and the last time the two sides met they edged it by a single strike in a 7 goal thriller. Will the enigmatic 15s deliver today? Let’s wait and see! Our final game today also pitches one of our sides against Bonnyrigg Rose as the U16s travel out of town to face their D2 near rivals. With only 2 points separating them in 2nd and 3rd spot it’s all to play for and, with Cavalry Park Colts breathing down their necks, any slip today from either team could prove to be costly.
