ACRONYM The other day I was driving along minding my own business when my convoluted brain asked a very challenging question. Do you suppose that the word “acronym” is an acronym in itself? To which I rolled my eyes. Where do these crazy ideas come from, I asked myself. I was afraid of the answer, so I went to work on the question. Not easy to do without writing something down. Remember, I was driving at the time. One by one I reviewed the letters that spell out “acronym” only to conclude they all led to something nonsensical. When I tried to get serious, the results were even more disappointing. I put it off until later. Did you ever try to sleep when you were tasked with inventing a new acronym? Well, I postponed it again. Like a hungry squirrel on a winter day, it continued to bother me. With all the serious stuff I have to contend with! So finally, in order to reprogram my train of thoughts to more substantial pursuits, here is what I finally came up with: A Compact Representation Of Names You Memorized.
