ACTRESS & ENVIRONMENTALIST DARYL HANNAH TO LEAD LINEUP OF RENEWABLE LEADERS AT 2013 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ENERGY SUMMIT PALM SPRINGS CONVENTION CENTER OCTOBER 4 The City of Palm Springs will host the 4th annual Southern California Energy Summit, Oct. 4-5, at the Palm Springs Convention Center -- featuring keynote speaker Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom and an impressive roster of energy experts discussing everything from energy and climate to sustainability and green jobs. The summit will kick off both days at 9 a.m. at the Convention Center, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros. Lieutenant Governor Newsom will speak at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4. Other confirmed speakers include California Energy Commissioners Carla Peterman and Karen Douglas, California Public Utilities Commission Catherine J.K. Sandoval and Governor Angelina Galiteva of the California Independent System Operator. The summit will feature two full days of keynote presentations, panel discussions and an exhibit hall, featuring cutting edge technologies.
