ADHD was created when we started expecting children to sit in a classroom for 8 hours, mindlessly making them repeat and remember. -@TheEyeOfControl P.s.: Whoever thought that shoving knowledge down someones throat was a good idea, did not appreciate the process of learning. People learn by coming across or seeking knowledge that aligns with our natural curiosity and happiness. This is not true with strict education curriculums which forces people to learn about specific topics, in turn limiting the creativity of learning. Which is why we have students who choose give up, slack off, or just get by. The passionate learners and over achievers within our k-12 education systems are literally going extinct. In my opinion it is because students do not feel self empowered in their learning process, instead they feel trapped. Their natural inclinations to learn what their hearts desire is limited and conformed. This robs students of a more accurate understanding of themselves producing a higher state of confusion when they begin to search for their purpose. Good news is that this reality can be changed.
