ADMIN MEL: BM Letter. Dear BM, I wanted to let you know that I am so thankful for you. Without you I would not have had the chance to see these beautiful boys grow up and raise them as my own. That is the only reason why I am thankful for you. I wanted to let you know that I am happy for you. I am happy you get to see your boys only on Sundays and that other than that you do not associate with them. You get to do whatever you want whenever you want. This means that I get to spend more time with them than you. That’s the only reason why I am happy for you. I wanted to let you know that I am jealous of you. You got to hold these boys the moments after they took their first breath. And got to hear their first words, see their first steps and wash their soft hair. That is the only reason why I am jealous of you. I want you to know that I am sad for you. I am sad that your role as a mother is gone because you chose to abandon the kids for three years. The title is still there, but you know in your heart, that the meaning behind the word mom belongs to me. That is the only reason why I am sad for you. I wanted to let you know that I love you. Not YOU as a person, but what you are in these kids’ eyes. You are on a pedestal. They are so young that you have done no wrong and never can because you are mom. I love the YOU that the kids choose to see. That is the only reason why I love you. I wanted to let you know that I care about you. I care about how you act around the kids. I care about how you feel about them and how you deal with them when you see them. That is the only reason why I care about you. I wanted to let you know that I thank god for you. I thank god that you chose to cheat on my husband when you were together, and drain him financially. It has allowed him to see how different I am than you, to start a fresh new life with me, and change his. That is the only reason I thank god for you. I wanted to let you know that I am never going to leave these boys. Not like you did. Not even for one second will I ever give up on them or stop caring for them, being there for them. Stop looking for an error in my ways because I have learned so much from yours, that I am doing all I can to make sure it never happens. I am not perfect but I am perfect for them. I chose to be there when you chose to leave. No matter what you say or do from here on out, for the rest of their lives they will know that I took on everything you threw away. And that is the only reason I am writing this letter to you.
