ADVANCE RUMLEY STEAM ENGINE THRESHING OATS BY THE AMISH Eleven rack wagons loaded with oat bundles were thrashed at a rural Arthur farm powered by a steam engine. The Amish men throw the sheaves picked by pitch fork in the field. They then throw them into the thresher and the oats go into a wagon. The straw is blown onto a pile for later baling or just put in the barn for bedding. I can’t tell if the Amish hired the English Steam tractor for the job or if the guy owning the engine just wanted something to do with it. youtu.be/RDbdRaoA6dc
