ADVICE FROM A MUSLIM REGARDING ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE QURAN AdAdebayo - Fist (sic), Qurian does not written in english if you need the full meaning of Qurian enrol in arabic class Here is someone who cannot even get the grammar of a universal language like English right asking people to learn Arabic. The audacity! Between English and Arabic,which language one is easier to learn? Out of the 1.6 billion Muslims, how many can write, read and understand Arabic? If Quran cannot be understood in any other language other than Arabic, why do Muslim scholars bother printing English translations? If the English translation of the Quran brings about ambiguity and mis-translation, why cant they use proper grammar and wording? You mean Quran cannot be translated into English using the first speech grammar? They have to use second and third person speech to be understood? Of course this is a weak excuse Muslims use to hoodwink obvious fallacies and errors in Quran. Remember the credibility of the Quran hangs on it being error free. How come Hebrew and Greek translation doesnt give Bible translations the same problems? Any Muslim willing to indulge me on this?
