ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom #psnm00253 Hello I would like some advice. My son will be 4 soon. I am on a roller coaster of emotions. My son is being harassed by a coworker of my husband and coworker wife they call my son moron, stupid, and dumb. It is really hurting him. My son keeps saying that he is stupid and he is sorry. He hangs his head low. He says he is bad boy. My son has ADHD, sensory issues, autistic traits, hand tremors, and fine motor delays. He also has developmental delay. He does not know how to express himself so he gets frustrated. They called him an animal. He has an IEP that only the school and therapists know about. I was told that if it documented that a child has an IEP that the child is protected under disability rights so I was wondering if there is any advocate or lawyer I can contact about them violating my sons rights because he has a disability. They are going around telling everyone my son is abused and neglected. I cannot see how someone can spread false abuse allegations they can turn someone life upside down. I went to college for psychology and I am in graduate school for child and adolescent developmental psychology. I went to school to better myself and these false allegations that are being made can turn my life upside down. Then my education will be wasted over someone getting mad and spreading false abuse. How can go about filing emotional distress? People look at me like I am a bad person. My son is well took care of. We are very loving and caring parents. I stay at home and take care of him while my husband works. I cant take these allegations that are being made against me. They are false. I was told the police cannot do anything about verbal harassment because of freedom of speech. I have so many emotions running through my mind. I live in Pennsylvania. The way that the coworker and his wife are acting is effecting my son. I want my son not to feel like he is a bad boy and that he made a bad choice.
